Is This How It Ends?

Our friends at Olympic Eagle Distributing, you know them as the Bud guys, are quite excited about the possibility of peddling real beer. Word reaches us that Dogfish Head is considering a switch from Click in the new year. Remember it's all about store space and the Bud guys know a thing or two about that. We also hear that we may be seeing Goose Island on draft here in the not too distant future.

There's also talk about a very small, very local, new brewery hitching their wagon to the Clydesdale's train. 7 Seas and their soon to arrive line of canned beer perhaps? Pure speculation. But we have confidence that for any good salesperson it's a small leap from hawking Bud Light Lime to double IPAs. It's all beer, right?

Anyone in doubt of their Bud guy's dedication to offering the finest of craft beers can check Olympic Eagle's generic website.

This just in: Olympic Eagle has just picked up the highly prized Trade Route brand, yup those folks famous for the Purple Yam Porter etc. Sorry for the non-story.

I really wish I knew where you get your delusions of grandure. This kind of ill informed posting is what hurts this business. Why post things you know nothing about? Why not report after you have credible facts. This kind of reporting takes away any kind of 'insight' or credibility you think you have.

I for one would look forward to Goose Island on tap.

I think the CEO of Olympic Eagle, worse name ever by the way, just spanked you John. Basically they would like you to stop doing their job of hurting the business. I for one found their website..., no it's so bad I can't make fun of it. Really it's that bad. How about a Bud Light Lime Double IPA? The ad would be; if you like our website you'll love this beer! You're doing God's work John, keep it up.

Where do I start? It's grandeur, moron, not grandure. My regular reader knows how I feel about anonymous commenters, if you're more informed than me put your name on your post, or write your own blog. Oh, one more thing, I'm not a reporter, I'm a gossip monger and thereby claim no credibility and never have. I refer you to my original mission statement.

I can personally guarantee that you will not witness 7 Seas Brewing distributed by any Budweiser associated distributor. Thank you for speculation. Just picked up 2- new 20bbl fermenters though. Look forward to much more self-distributed 7 Seas craft beer on tap and soon canned.
